Ritual are a speed metal trio from Lewisville in Texas whose members \u2013 David Kurrasch (vocals \/ guitar), Kyle Lewallen (bass) and Andy Terhaar (drums) \u2013 are all aged 14, making them by far the youngest band ever to be featured in Metal Forces<\/em>. Still, despite their age, Ritual are certainly no joke and musically are as good if not better than a majority of bands who write to \u2018Demolition\u2019.<\/p>\n

The material on the band\u2019s poorly recorded Metal Abyss<\/em> demo, their second, is fairly predictable and I\u2019m being kind when I say that the vocals are crap, but the potential is there and Ritual certainly have the time to improve their qualities.<\/p>\n

My advice to the band would be to continue writing material, rehearsing, gigging and save some money for a decent quality demo. It\u2019s no good them producing bad quality demos every time they\u2019ve written half a dozen new songs. If they can be patient, then their time will surely come.<\/p>\n
