Myth are a West Haven, Connecticut-based band who were formed in July \u201984, and are not to be confused with the Seattle-based band of the same name (Queensr\u00ffche frontman Geoff Tate\u2019s old band). The band\u2019s four members are: Rob Schwartz (vocals), Roger Loiseau (guitar), Dan Lynch (bass) and Mark Minervini (drums).<\/p>\n

Earlier last year Myth released a single on Metal Force Records (no relation!), \u2018Metal To The Pedal\u2019 \/ \u2018Rock Or Die\u2019, which sold over 1,000 copies locally in its first week of release. Of the two tracks, I much prefer the fast paced \u2018Rock Or Die\u2019 which boasts some impressive vocals from Rob Schwartz.<\/p>\n

The band have also recorded a five-track demo of more recent material which, compared with the single, I found a little disappointing. Though tracks like \u2018Metal Is The Way\u2019 and \u2018No End\u2019 still had enough going for them to hold my attention with some interesting riffs and a well constructed approach. Myth should soon be releasing their debut album.<\/p>\n
