The track was written for and about Canedy\u2019s best friend Jim Nunis; a custom guitar maker, Nunis died from metastatic cancer on May 18th, 2006. \u2018My Life, My Way\u2019 was additionally dedicated to the memory of Billy Hilfiger as well as Nunis.
