LAMB OF GOD Release Seventh Studio Album \u2018VII: Sturm Und Drang\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

\nRichmond, Virginia-based metal group Lamb Of God issued VII: Sturm Und Drang<\/em> (English translation: \u2018Storm And Stress\u2019) on July 24th, 2015 in North America through Epic Records. Nuclear Blast Entertainment scheduled release elsewhere to take place that same day.<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California and Suburban Soul Studios in Torrance, California. Production and mixing was handled by Josh Wilbur, once again, with engineering being undertaken by Wilbur, Nick Rowe and Kyle McAulay.<\/p>\n

The album featured guest vocal contributions from Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan \/ Kill Or Be Killed) on the tracks \u2018Embers\u2019 and \u2018Torches\u2019 respectively.<\/p>\n

Inaugural single \u2018Still Echoes\u2019 was made available for digital purchase on May 18th.<\/p>\n

In its first week of release, VII: Sturm Und Drang<\/em> charted in the following countries; the United States (#2, Billboard Top 200), Australia (#2), Canada (#1), Germany (#12), the United Kingdom (#7), New Zealand (#11), Japan (#13), Finland (#3), Sweden (#19), Belgium (#23), and Ireland (#25).<\/p>\n

Directed by Jorge Torres-Torres, music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018512\u2019 and \u2018Overlord\u2019, which can be viewed below. A music video was also recorded for the song \u2018Embers\u2019, that clip directed by Zev Deans. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Erase This\u2019.<\/p>\n

Sixth studio record Resolution<\/em> was released in January 2012.<\/p>\n
