Hailing from Los Angeles, California come the highly recommended Abattoir; a five-piece consisting of Raul Preston (vocals), Robert \u2018Danger\u2019 Wayne (drums), and founding members Mark Caro (lead guitar), Juan Garcia (second guitar) and Mel Sanchez (bass).<\/p>\n

Abattoir have only been together for about a year but they\u2019ve already appeared on the Metal Massacre IV<\/em> compilation album and will soon be releasing their debut EP. <\/p>\n

Musically Abattoir can be compared to the likes of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden with a touch of raw edged Mot\u00f6rhead thrown in on top. Their demo contains two excellent fast paced metal numbers; \u2018Vicious Attack\u2019 and \u2018Screams From The Grave\u2019 which is a slightly superior version to the one that can be found on Metal Massacre IV<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Abattoir\u2019s EP will contain both demo tracks as well as \u2018The Living And The Dead\u2019, \u2018Hammer Of The Gods\u2019 and maybe one other track.<\/p>\n
