German-Norwegian symphonic metal group Leaves\u2019 Eyes signed an album contract with AFM Records, revealing this development on March 19th, 2015.<\/p>\n

Vocalist Liv Kristine issued the following statement: \u201cWe couldn\u2019t be happier with our choice to sign with AFM Records. We wanted a trustful and true partner and we feel that with Jochen and his whole team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vocalist and producer Alexander Krull shared the following, meanwhile: \u201cWe are more than happy to sign with AFM Records! It\u2019s incredible to team up with Jochen Richert and his entire supportive staff! We have known Jochen for years and also worked successfully together in the past. This is the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Leaves\u2019 Eyes!\u201d<\/p>\n

AFM CEO Jochen Richert had the following to say: \u201cWhen you get the chance to work with such an incredible band, you just have to do it. Leaves\u2019 Eyes are one of the leading bands in their genre and we know that Liv and her band are professional in every way. In addition, we know each other for many years and get along so well. So Leaves\u2019 Eyes for us is the \u2018total package\u2019 and we are delighted and proud to be their new label home.\u201d<\/p>\n

AFM creative director Nils Wasko commented the following: \u201cI can only agree here: it\u2019s a pleasure to have Leaves\u2019 Eyes onboard now. Liv is an icon of the gothic and symphonic metal scene and has led both Theatre Of Tragedy and later Leaves\u2019 Eyes to international fame. We are really looking forward to this new collaboration.\u201d<\/p>\n

On March 11th, it was revealed<\/a> that Leaves\u2019 Eyes had entered Mastersound Studios in Steinheim, Germany to begin recording its sixth studio full-length album for late 2015 issue.<\/p>\n
