Newcastle, England-born heavy metal group Raven issued ExtermiNation<\/em><\/a> in Scandinavia on April 22nd, 2015 through Steamhammer \/ SPV. The label scheduled German release for the 24th, general European release for the 27th, and North American release for the 28th.<\/p>\n

The effort was made available in the following formats; digipak CD, 2LP gatefold green vinyl, and digital download.<\/p>\n

A Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign launched to finance recording raised more than $27,000. Full-length covers record Party Killers<\/em> was given away as an exclusive Kickstarter reward, with exclusive T-shirts, patches, and a seven-inch vinyl single also being offered.<\/p>\n

ExtermiNation<\/em> was recorded between August and December 2014 at Assembly Line Studios in Vienna, Virginia, and mixed by Kevin Gutierrez. Mastering duties fell to Bill Wolf at Wolf Productions Inc. in Alexandria, Virginia.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Jay Sharpe.<\/p>\n

In its first week of release, ExtermiNation<\/em> charted at position 53 on the U.S. Billboard Hard Music Charts and position 190 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart.<\/p>\n

A music video was filmed for the track \u2018Battle March\/Tank Treads (The Blood Runs Red)\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Destroy All Monsters\u2019. Both clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Twelfth studio record Walk Through Fire<\/em> was released in March 2010.<\/p>\n
