German-Norwegian symphonic metal group Leaves\u2019 Eyes issued sixth studio full-length album King Of Kings<\/em> on September 11th, 2015 in Europe through AFM Records. The label scheduled North American release for October 2nd.<\/p>\n

The outing was recorded in Germany, Norway, England, Netherlands, Belarus and Switzerland, with production being handled by vocalist Alexander Krull at his own Mastersound Studio in Steinheim, Germany. Making an appearance on the effort is the London Voices Choir.<\/p>\n

King Of King<\/em>\u2019s concept is rooted in a chapter of Norwegian history, a chapter having taken place in the Middle Ages. Tracks include \u2018Halvdan The Black\u2019, which concerns Halvdanr Svarte (c. 810-860) \u2013 a ninth century king of Vestfold, Norway. \u2018Edge Of Steel\u2019 features a guest appearance from Epica vocalist Simone Simons, while \u2018Blazing Waters\u2019 features a guest appearance from Wardruna vocalist Lindy-Fay Hella.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties fell to Stefan Hielemann.<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Symphonies Of The Night<\/em> was released in November 2013.<\/p>\n
