SIX FEET UNDER Release 11th Studio Album \u2018Crypt Of The Devil\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Tampa, Florida-based death metal group Six Feet Under issued 11th full-length studio album Crypt Of The Devil<\/em> on May 5th, 2015 through Metal Blade Records. <\/p>\n

The ten-track affair was composed by vocalist Chris Barnes and Cannabis Corpse vocalist \/ bassist Phil Hall (also of Municipal Waste).<\/p>\n

Six Feet Under and Cannabis Corpse toured together during 2013, Barnes and Hall meeting one another and subsequently remaining in touch. June 2014 Cannabis Corpse full-length From Wisdom To Baked<\/em> included guest vocals from Barnes on the track ‘Individual Pot Patterns’. <\/p>\n

The outing was cut at Hall’s studio in Virginia, the musician tracking rhythm and bass guitar. His brother Josh tracked drums meanwhile, with guitarist Brandon Ellis tracking the majority of the album’s lead guitar parts. Barnes recorded vocal parts at London Bridge Studio in Seattle, Washington.<\/p>\n

Mixing was handled by Rob Caldwell in Sarasota, Florida, while mastering was overseen by Alan Douches at West West Side in New Windsor, New York. Cover artwork responsibilities fell to Mike Hrubovcak.<\/p>\n

In its first week of release, Crypt Of The Devil<\/em> charted on the following Billboard charts; the Hard Music Chart (#13), the Heatseekers Chart (#13), the Independent Albums Chart (#32), the Rock Albums Chart (#49), the Physical Albums Chart (#120), and the Billboard Top 200 (#161). In Canada, the effort charted on the Hard Music Chart (#33) and the Top Sellers Chart (#198). In addition, Crypt Of The Devil<\/em> charted at position 36 in Germany.<\/p>\n

Directed by Mitch Massie, a music video was filmed for the track \u2018Open Coffin Orgy\u2019, which can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Tenth studio record Unborn<\/em><\/a> was released in March 2013.<\/p>\n
