MICHAEL SWEET: STRYPER Vocalist Releases Sixth Solo Studio Album \u2018I\u2019m Not Your Suicide\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

\nMichael Sweet, vocalist of Orange County, California-based heavy metal group Stryper, issued solo full-length studio album I\u2019m Not Your Suicide<\/em> on May 6th, 2014. Guest musicians who appeared on the record include Kenny Aronoff (drummer, Chickenfoot), Chris Jericho (vocalist, Fozzy), Doug Aldrich (guitarist, Whitesnake), Tony Harnell (vocalist, TNT), Kevin Max (vocalist, Audio Adrenaline), Electra Mustaine, Paul McNamara, Charles Foley, John O\u2019Boyle, Pete Adams, Sweet\u2019s brother Robert (drums, Stryper) and Timothy Gaines (bassist, Stryper).<\/p>\n

Comprised of 13 tracks, I\u2019m Not Your Suicide<\/em>\u2019s release coincided with the issue of the Stryper frontman\u2019s autobiography, Honestly<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The song \u2018The Cause\u2019 was made available for streaming on September 11th, 2013, marking the 12th anniversary of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Coming Home\u2019, \u2018I’m Not Your Suicide\u2019, and \u2018Heart Of Gold\u2019. Written by Neil Young, \u2018Heart Of Gold\u2019\u2019s original rendition was featured on the February 1972 album Harvest<\/em>. The title track, meanwhile, was issued as a digital single, with a portion of the proceeds from sales being donated to Childhelp.<\/p>\n
