Last In Line, the group featuring founding Dio members Vivian Campbell (guitar, Def Leppard), Jimmy Bain (bass, ex-Rainbow), and Vinny Appice (drums, ex-Black Sabbath) \u2013 as well as vocalist Andrew Freeman, who previously fronted Hurricane and Lynch Mob \u2013 issued debut full-length studio album Heavy Crown<\/em> on February 19th, 2016 through Frontiers Music Srl.<\/p>\n

Heavy Crown<\/em> was recorded at a Southern California studio with producer Jeff Pilson (bass, Foreigner \/ ex-Dio \/ ex-Dokken). Last In Line had initially recorded ten compositions, but returned to the studio to record several more tracks. Albeit having recorded ten, the ensemble\u2019s contract stipulated more songs had to be submitted.<\/p>\n

Last In Line\u2019s formation was announced on May 1st, 2012, almost two years following the passing<\/a> of Dio vocalist and namesake Ronnie James Dio. Dio succumbed to stomach cancer on May 16th, 2010 at the age of 67.<\/p>\n

Campbell appeared on the Dio band\u2019s initial trio of full-lengths, namely Holy Diver<\/em> (1983), Last In Line<\/em> (1984), and Sacred Heart<\/em> (1985), albums from which Last In Line exclusively perform material from.<\/p>\n

Directed by Thomas McNeely, music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Devil In Me\u2019 and \u2018Starmaker\u2019. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the songs \u2018Blame It On Me\u2019, \u2018Already Dead\u2019 and \u2018I Am Revolution\u2019. All five clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

The music video for \u2018Starmaker\u2019 and the official lyric video for \u2018Blame It On Me\u2019 were both released to mark the passing<\/a> of bassist Jimmy Bain on January 23rd at the age of 68.<\/p>\n
