BROKEN HOPE Release Sixth Album \u2018Omen Of Disease\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

\nChicago, Illinois-based death metal group Broken Hope issued sixth full-length album Omen Of Disease<\/em> in Europe on September 30th, 2013 through Century Media Records. The label also scheduled a North American release for October 1st. Drums were cut at Belle City Sound in Racine, Wisconsin with engineer Chris Wisco, while the remaining instruments were laid down at Mercenary Digital Studios in Zion, Illinois with engineer Scott Creekmore. Trevor Strnad \u2013 frontman for Waterford, Michigan-based death metal ensemble The Black Dahlia Murder \u2013 guests on the composition \u2018Rendered Into Lard\u2019. Guitarist James Murphy (ex-Death \/ ex-Obituary \/ ex-Testament) handled mixing and mastering responsibilities at his own studio, christened Safehouse Production.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork duties were overseen by Wes Benscoter, who had previously designed the cover artworks for Repulsive Conception<\/em> (1995) and Loathing<\/em> (1997).<\/p>\n
