BOMBUS Release Second Studio Album \u2018The Poet And The Parrot\u2019<\/strong><\/span>

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal group Bombus issued second full-length album The Poet And The Parrot<\/em> in Europe on August 26th, 2013 through Century Media Records. The label scheduled North American release for September 17th.<\/p>\n

The Poet And The Parrot<\/em> was issued as a limited edition digipak CD, and included the bonus tracks \u2018Styx\u2019 and \u2018Cut Deep\u2019. A jewel case CD edition and two 180-gram gatefold LP versions in black and dark green vinyl were also released.<\/p>\n

The outing was produced, recorded and mixed by Olle Bj\u00f6rk and Per St\u00e5lberg at Welfare Sounds Studio in Gothenburg. Additional mixing and mastering duties were handled by Daniel Johansson, also at Welfare Sounds Studio.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was created by Ulf Lund\u00e9n.<\/p>\n

Limited to 500 copies, a seven-inch vinyl version of \u2018Apparatus\u2019 was released on May 2nd, 2013. Additionally, the composition was made available as a digital download.<\/p>\n

On August 31st, 2013 a release show for The Poet And The Parrot<\/em> was held at Hi Time \/ Pustervik in Gothenburg.<\/p>\n

Music videos were filmed for the tracks \u2018Apparatus\u2019, \u2018Enter The Night\u2019 and \u2018Let Her Die\u2019. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song \u2018Into The Fire\u2019. All four clips can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

A self-titled debut record was released in May 2010 via Mourningwood Recordings.<\/p>\n
