Decidedly modern in its approach, \u2018Trinity\u2019, as a song, is crisp but soulless, simply because of its generic thrash nature.<\/p>\n<p>Hints of Nuclear Assault, Vio-lence and Death Angel can be found within the polished mix, but what\u2019s obvious is that Spitfire just doesn\u2019t boast anything beyond the bland. Yes, I\u2019m being harsh, but there\u2019s just so much of this stuff around that by the time I\u2019m at the halfway stage with \u2018Pointless Ways\u2019 and \u2018Creations Of God\u2019, my attention has waned. And that\u2019s a shame because there are some good riffs (\u2018Downfall Of Existence\u2019) and bursts of aggression here.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Bending Reality\u2019 literally scalps the listener as does the bassy \u2018Mankind Into Dust\u2019, but it\u2019s archetypal thrash to its core and my patience runs thin all too quickly.
