You get bogged down by each quicksand riff yet mesmerised by the Celtic Frost tone that weaves its dismal magic.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Nocturnal Rites\u2019 remains thick but certainly a lot faster in its abysmal galloping. There\u2019s no denying its grim accessibility as the trio give present Darkthrone a run for their money with those creaky, vintage grooves.
