This Indiana-based quartet keeps things pretty simple with their brand of brain ravaging savagery. Four songs are offered \u2013 \u2018Buried\u2019, \u2018Immolation\u2019, \u2018Draugr\u2019 and \u2018Bezerk\u2019 \u2013 and they all flit by in a blur, which is no surprise when one considers that the EP is only ten minutes long.<\/p>\n<p>The riffs on this outing are massive juggernauts of chainsaw gunk brimming with a Swedish fuzz. In fact, the whole EP is far more entertaining than I imagined; the band really does have a dripping density, especially with the immense slower passages which litter this release.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a slight nod towards the mid-90s death metal scene, particularly with the chugging beefiness and bellowing vocals. Imagine Dismember and Entombed grinding circa 1995 but with added thickness.
