Forget the death metal-styled album title, this is some punk infused thrash from Italy. This is the fourth full-length release from the quartet and it\u2019s a record bursting at the seams with fizzing leads, clanking riffs and a latter day Slayer<\/a> hostility.<\/p>\n

From the opening track \u2018Tyrants Of Depravity\u2019, vocalist Giacomo Burgassi adopts a Tom Araya-style of ranting, his voice coming across as a series of aggressive barks. And this is the theme throughout. Random picks such as \u2018Cursed Blood\u2019, \u2018The Thing At The Edge Of Sanity\u2019, \u2018Fill Up The Grave!\u2019 and \u2018Nailed To The Crossfire\u2019 are blunt thrash numbers delivered like a swift 1-2 combination, leaving you dazed from such a rapid flurry.<\/p>\n

The album rarely deviates from such zip. \u2018The Holy Grail\u2019 sees the vocals drop a tone, \u2018Born To Rot\u2019 features impressive axework but is quick to veer back to type, although \u2018Violence, Vengeance, Chaos\u2019 offers a nice mid-tempo chug. Indeed, there are some decent melodic strikes within this volatile framework; you just have to siphon them out from the debris left by this blitzkrieg.<\/p>\n
