Chicago, Illinois-based grindcore band Blind Equation have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Killing Me\u2019. Shot and edited by Ribshot Visuals, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Blind Equation issue second full-length studio album Death Awaits<\/em> on September 15th, 2023 through Prosthetic Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cDeath Awaits<\/em> is the album I have always been wanting to make for Blind Equation, and I feel like this is the perfect time to do so,\u201d sole songwriter James McHenry said. \u201cThis album demonstrates strong influence from black metal, modern hyperpop and cloud rap, eurotrance and a wide variety of genres through the Blind Equation songwriting and production lens. I am excited to release something that progresses the project\u2019s sound to the next step, and opens up a whole new world of what Blind Equation could be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Death Awaits<\/em> was self-produced and mastered by McHenry for streaming and CD before being placed in the hands of audio engineer Steve Perrino for vinyl mastering duties.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the album was \u201cconceptualised as a meditation on real world anxieties and largely negative lived experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

The track \u2018Killing Me\u2019 features guitars written and performed by Rat Jesu, and lyrics and vocals co-written by Jesu. \u2018Suffering In Silence\u2019, meanwhile, includes lyrics and vocals co-written by Deathtrippa.<\/p>\n
