EXTREME Premiere \u2018Thicker Than Blood\u2019 Music Video<\/strong><\/span>

American hard rock band Extreme have released a music video for the track \u2018Thicker Than Blood\u2019. Directed by Nuno Bettencourt and Rene Rigal, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Regarding the video, the band stated: \u201cWith \u2018Thicker Than Blood\u2019 we wanted to shoot a video that celebrates the fifth and most important member of the band. Our fans. So we shot it from the fans point of view. No matter how great a band believes they are\u2026 you cannot achieve your dreams of touring the world and doing what you love the most, performing, without your fans. It\u2019s the most important relationship in our career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Extreme issued sixth full-length studio album Six<\/em> on June 9th, 2023 through earMUSIC.<\/p>\n

Six<\/em> was recorded at the home studio of guitarist Nuno Bettencourt in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Extreme, there\u2019s always a lot of passion and a little piss and vinegar,\u201d commented frontman Gary Cherone. \u201cWe\u2019re not in competition with anybody else, but we strive to outdo ourselves. There are some moments on this album where we did. We\u2019ve managed to stay together after all of these years. We feel like we have something to prove when we get on stage or in the studio. Because of that, I believe some of these songs are among the best we\u2019ve written.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever you think an Extreme album is after two or even three songs, it\u2019s not,\u201d added Bettencourt. \u201cThat goes for every record we\u2019ve ever done. True Extreme fans know to \u2018expect the unexpected.\u2019 I feel like we need a good old school rock album. Six<\/em> is definitely modern, but you can put on headphones and go on a journey from top-to-bottom. It\u2019s like \u2018Extreme 2.0\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fifth studio record Saudades de Rock<\/em> was released in August 2008 via Frontiers Music Srl in Europe, with release elsewhere taking place through Fontana.<\/p>\n
