Nottingham, England-based extreme metal band Outergods issue debut full-length studio album A Kingdom Built Upon The Wreckage Of Heaven<\/em> on September 1st, 2023 through Prosthetic Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cNathe (Sinfield, guitars and electronics) is very much the visionary of Outergods,\u201d frontman Sam Strachan commented. \u201cHe explained to me early on that he wanted to make a feral beast of a record that would blend all our favourite sounds and push them to the limits of extremity. That is how the album title came about \u2013 I wanted something that felt traditional to the genre but also conjured up a stark, bleak image of horror.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Kingdom Built Upon The Wreckage Of Heaven<\/em> was produced and mixed by Nathe Sinfield, and mastered by Kristofer Strandberg of ES Music.<\/p>\n

Lyrically \u201cthe album uses dark and sinister metaphors to explore turbulence they were experiencing throughout the album\u2019s creation,\u201d according to a press release. \u201cSpecifically Nathe found himself in a situation where his family were staring down an immeasurable bereavement – the feelings of hopelessness, grief, and torment were poured into his writing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cover artwork was designed by Tim Sinfield, brother of guitarist Nathe Sinfield.<\/p>\n
