German extreme metal band Craving have released an official lyric video for the track \u2018Mich packt die Wut\u2019. Produced by Marco Fleischut, the clip can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Craving issued fourth full-length studio album Call Of The Sirens<\/em> on May 19th, 2023 through Massacre Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe alarming rise of psychopathy in our personal lives, in the world, and in society as a whole, served as the driving force behind the creation of Call Of The Sirens<\/em>,\u201d commented frontman Ivan Chertov.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe title of the album serves as a metaphor, drawing inspiration from the mythical creatures, the Sirens, of Greek and other ancient mythologies, known for seducing and ultimately destroying their victims. The title track, specifically, explores the themes of \u2018modern-day siren\u2019, the archetype of the narcissist.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe music is deeply rooted in the complexities of real-life events and social issues such as apathy, mental manipulation, and despair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Call Of The Sirens<\/em> was produced by Craving, and mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studios.<\/p>\n

Michele Bouma and Ester Devries provide guest vocals on the title track, while Theresa Winterhalter provides guest vocals on the song \u2018Death March\u2019, Anita Janukuewicz on the track \u2018Shum\u2019, and Konstantin Raab on the track \u2018Blood Ov Franconia\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Gods Don\u2019t Negotiate\u2019 includes a guest guitar solo from Cradle Of Filth member Marek \u201cAshok\u201d Smerda, while orchestrations for \u2018Prayer For The Rain\u2019 were handled by Fabian Mofid.<\/p>\n

Cover artwork and layout was designed by Andrej Bartulovi\u0107 of All Things Rotten.<\/p>\n
