VOIVOD Release ‘Post Society’ EP

Jonquière, Québec, Canada-based metal group Voivod issued five-track EP Post Society on February 26th, 2016 through Century Media Records.

The outing consisted of two tracks previously included on split seven-inch EPs issued with labelmates At The Gates and Napalm Death, two newly recorded tracks, and a cover rendition of Hawkwind’s ‘Silver Machine’.

Cover artwork duties fell to drummer Michel “Away” Langevin.

The track listing is as follows;

04. ‘We Are Connected’
05. ‘Silver Machine’ (Hawkwind cover)

Voivod’s line-up is as follows;

Denis “Snake” Bélanger (vocals)
Daniel “Chewy” Mongrain (guitar)
Dominique “Rocky” Laroche (bass)
Michel “Away” Langevin (drums)

Filmed during the band’s appearance at the Leafmeal Festival in Germany, a music video was released for the title track, which can be viewed below.

Thirteenth studio record Target Earth was released in January 2013.
