THERION Unveil Music Video For ‘Nocturnal Light’ Track
October 19th, 2021

Stockholm, Sweden-based symphonic metal band Therion have released a music video for the track ‘Nocturnal Light’, which can be viewed below.

Speaking about the song, Therion mainman Christofer Johnsson said: “This is a very epic song with Middle Eastern influences written by Thomas Vikström. The lyrics deal with the Sumerian goddess Inanna. It was one of his first contributions to the Leviathan writing sessions.”

Therion issued 17th full-length studio album Leviathan on January 22nd, 2021 through Nuclear Blast Records.

“We have done the only thing that was left of all the different angles to explore,” Christofer Johnsson commented. “We have decided to give the people what they kept asking for. Leviathan is the first album that we have deliberately packed with Therion hit songs.”

Leviathan is named after a giant sea monster from Judeo-Christian myth that has roots in Babylonic lore.

Cover artwork was created by Thomas Ewerhard.
