STONE SOUR Make Covers EP ‘Meanwhile In Burbank…’ Available For Streaming In Its Entirety

Des Moines, Iowa-based hard rock group Stone Sour have made covers EP Meanwhile In Burbank… available for streaming in its entirety through YouTube, which can be accessed below.

Stone Sour issued Meanwhile In Burbank… on April 18th, 2015 in vinyl format to mark Record Store Day, with digital release taking place on the 28th.

The outing was recorded live at Room 237 in Burbank, California.

The EP’s concept originated from a February 2014 conversation between vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist Josh Rand, Stone Sour touring at the time. Taylor approached Rand with a view to covering the Metal Church track ‘The Dark’ for horror movie Fear Clinic. ‘The Dark’ was covered accordingly, Rand suggesting Stone Sour subsequently cover all of the five tracks they had been performing on tour.
