POWERWOLF Release Sixth Studio Album ‘Blessed & Possessed’
July 17th, 2015

German power metal group Powerwolf issued sixth full-length studio album Blessed & Possessed on July 17th, 2015 through Napalm Records.

Limited edition versions of Blessed & Possessed contained a separate mediabook bonus covers album titled Metallium Nostrum.

Recording sessions began on January 4th, 2015 at Kohlekeller Studio, member Roel van Helden beginning the process of tracking drums. On February 1st, Charles Greywolf had concluded tracking bass parts at his own Studio Greywolf.

Blessed & Possessed was mixed by Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, mixing having concluded by April 3rd. Mastering was handled by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden, meanwhile.

Cover artwork was created by guitarist Matthew Greywolf.

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Army Of The Night’. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the songs ‘Armata Strigoi’, ‘Sacramental Sister’ and the bands cover version of Gary Moore’s ‘Out In The Fields’. All four clips can be viewed below.

Fifth studio record Preachers Of The Night was released in July 2013 via Napalm Records.
