OZZY OSBOURNE Unveils Animated Music Video For ‘It’s A Raid’ Track Feat. POST MALONE
February 12th, 2021

Ozzy Osbourne has released an animated music video for his collaboration with American rapper Post Malone on the track ‘It’s A Raid’. Directed by Tomas Lenert, the clip can be viewed below.

Ozzy Osbourne said: “A couple of years ago I didn’t even know who Post Malone was. Since then we’ve worked together on two studio tracks and have performed together twice. Understandably COVID-19 made it difficult to get together to shoot a music video for ‘It’s A Raid’ so we opted for this wildly imagined animated video for the final single from the Ordinary Man album.”

Ozzy Osbourne issued 12th full-length solo studio album Ordinary Man on February 21st, 2020 through Epic Records.

Ordinary Man was made available in the following formats: standard CD, deluxe CD, black vinyl, deluxe gatefold swirl colour vinyl, picture disc and digital album.

Recorded in Los Angeles, the effort features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums. The outing also features as a number of guest musicians, including Elton John, Slash, Post Malone and Tom Morello.

“It all started when Kelly (Osbourne) comes in and says, ‘Do you want to work on a Post Malone song?’” Ozzy Osbourne commented. “My first thing was, ‘Who the fuck is Post Malone?!’ I went to Andrew’s (Watt) house and he said we will work really quick. After we finished that song, he said, ‘Would you be interested in starting an album?’ I said ‘That would be fucking great’, but now I am thinking I don’t want to be working in a basement studio for six months! And in just a short time, we had the album done. Duff and Chad came in and we would go in and jam during the day and I would go work out the songs in the evenings. I previously had said to Sharon I should be doing an album, but in the back of my mind I was going ‘I haven’t got the fucking strength…’ but Andrew pulled it out of me. I really hope people listen to it and enjoy it, because I put my heart and soul into this album.”
