OBITUARY Unveil Music Video For ‘Sentence Day’ Track
August 1st, 2017

Brandon, Florida-based death metal band Obituary have released a music video for the track ‘Sentence Day’. Directed by Magnetar Studio and featuring live footage filmed in May 2017 during the band’s headlining U.S. tour, the clip can be viewed below.

Obituary issued their self-titled tenth full-length studio album on March 17th, 2017 through Relapse Records.

The album has been made available for streaming in its entirety and can be accessed below.

Cover artwork duties fell to Andreas Marschall.

Vocalist John Tardy commented: “When writing records the song titles and album titles are always the last things on our minds. We know that the songs themselves are the most important thing, so with this our tenth studio album and nearly three decades as a band, we thought it was the perfect time for a self-titled release. It always helps to have a killer album cover so we worked with Andreas Marschall, gave him our ideas and thoughts and asked him to break out the big guns to create an epic logo and he delivered like he always has for Obituary.”

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘Brave’
02. ‘Sentence Day’
03. ‘A Lesson In Vengeance’
04. ‘End It Now’
05. ‘Kneel Before Me’
06. ‘It Lives’
07. ‘Betrayed’
08. ‘Turned To Stone’
09. ‘Straight To Hell’
10. ‘Ten Thousand Ways To Die’
11. ‘No Hope’ (deluxe edition bonus track}

Obituary’s line-up is as follows:

John Tardy (vocals)
Kenny Andrews (lead guitar)
Trevor Peres (rhythm guitar)
Terry Butler (bass)
Donald Tardy (drums)
