METALLICA Embark On European WorldWired Arena Tour From September 2017 To May 2018

San Francisco, California-based heavy metal band Metallica performed headlining arena shows in Europe between September and November 2017 on the first European leg of their global WorldWired Tour, with the second leg of the trek taking place between February and May 2018. Supporting on all dates were Stavanger / Oslo, Norway-based rock group Kvelertak.

The dates were scheduled in support of tenth Metallica studio album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, issued in November 2016 through their own Blackened Recordings label.
