MEGADETH Premiere ‘Killing Time: Chapter V’ Music Video

Los Angeles, California-based thrash metal band Megadeth have filmed a music video for ‘Killing Time: Chapter V’. Once again directed by Leo Liberti, the video is the latest instalment of the band’s multi-part short film that reveals the origins of Megadeth’s iconic mascot Vic Rattlehead. All five instalments released so far can be viewed below

Megadeth issued 16th full-length studio album The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! on September 2nd, 2022 through UMe.

The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! was produced by frontman Dave Mustaine and Chris Rakestraw, who also helmed predecessor Dystopia. Recording sessions took place at Mustaine’s home studio in Nashville, Tennessee, with guitarist Kiko Loureiro and drummer Dirk Verbeuren.

Bass parts for the album were recorded by Steve DiGiorgio (Testament / ex-Death), with James LoMenzo returning to the band’s ranks following the conclusion of sessions.

The outing was mixed by Josh Wilbur, while mastering duties fell to Ted Jensen.

Cover artwork was created by Brent Elliott White.

Directed by Leo Liberti, music videos were filmed for ‘We’ll Be Back: Chapter I’, ‘Night Stalkers: Chapter II’, ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!: Chapter III’ and ‘Life In Hell: Chapter IV’. In addition, a visualiser video was released for the song ‘Soldier On!’. All five clips can also be viewed below.

Fifteenth studio record Dystopia was released in January 2016 via Universal Music / Tradecraft / T-Boy Records.
