March 27th, 2020

Essen, Germany-based thrash metal band Kreator have filmed a music video for new track ‘666 – World Divided’. Directed by Jörn Heitmann, the clip can be viewed below.

‘666 – World Divided’ was released as a digital single on March 27th, 2020 through Nuclear Blast Records and can be purchased here.

Kreator bandleader, singer, songwriter and guitarist Mille Petrozza commented: “Hordes! After three long years, we’re excited to announce our brand-new, standalone single ‘666 – World Divided’. Now more than ever has the message of this song been so true – we must remain united, in this world divided! Stay safe out there and most importantly, stay metal! We’ll make it through, we are ONE!”

‘666 – World Divided’ marks the first new piece of Kreator music since the release of their last studio album Gods Of Violence back in January 2017, as well as the first joint recording with new bass player Frédéric Leclercq (ex-DragonForce). The track was co-produced by Andy Sneap and Markus Ganter and recorded at Hansa Studios in Berlin, Germany.

The song will also be released physically on April 10th, 2020 as a strictly limited split seven-inch vinyl single together with Richmond, Virginia-based metal group Lamb Of God. The Lamb Of God side features the already released song ‘Checkmate’, taken from their upcoming self-titled studio album. The split-single will be available via the Kreator online shop and Nuclear Blast mailorder.

Kreator’s line-up is as follows:

Mille Petrozza (vocals and guitar)
Sami Yli-Sirniö (guitar)
Frédéric Leclercq (bass)
Ventor (drums)

Fourteenth studio record Gods Of Violence was released in January 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records.
