GWAR Release Animated Music Video For ‘Viking Death Machine’ Track
October 4th, 2018

Richmond, Virginia-based metal group GWAR have released an animated music video for the track ‘Viking Death Machine’. Directed and animated by Makinita, the clip can be viewed below.

GWAR issued 14th full-length studio album The Blood Of Gods on October 20th, 2017 through Metal Blade Records.

The Blood Of Gods has been made available for streaming in its entirety via YouTube and can be accessed below.

The Berserker Blóthar commented: “The Blood Of Gods is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenges the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming. Humans are shown as what they are; a parasitic disease that must be eradicated before they suck the planet dry.”

Sleazy P. Martini added: “Sorry scoffers, you thought GWAR was finished? You’re the one who’s finished when GWAR starts their fall tour after dropping their heaviest album yet. The Blood Of Gods will be the soundtrack that covers up your pathetic cries for mercy. So go ahead and scream all you want. Just make sure your in key or your death will be excruciating beyond comprehension.”

The Blood Of Gods marks the first GWAR effort not to feature frontman Dave “Oderus Urungus” Brockie, who succumbed to a heroin overdose on March 23rd, 2014 at the age of 50.

The outing was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ronan Chris “Lord God” Murphy.
