DISTURBED Issue Live Performance Video For ‘Immortalized’ Title Track

Chicago, Illinois-based metal group Disturbed have released a live performance video for the title track of their latest album Immortalized. Filmed in several venues across North America, Australia and New Zealand during late 2016, the clip can be viewed below.

Disturbed issued sixth full-length studio album Immortalized on August 21st, 2015 through Reprise Records.

During January 2014, vocalist David Draiman, guitarist Dan Donegan, and drummer Mike Wengren met for dinner in their hometown of Chicago. Shortly thereafter, without notifying friends, families, or their label, the trio began to fly back and forth to each other’s respective home studios for writing sessions, marking the beginnings of Immortalized and the first time they collectively wrote together since 2001.

Recording sessions took place at Hideout Recordings in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko.

In its first week of release, Immortalized sold 98,000 equivalent album units according to Nielsen Music, of which 93,000 were pure album sales. Immortalized landed at position one on the Billboard 200, the fifth Disturbed album to do so.

Disturbed’s cover rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel track ‘The Sound Of Silence’ charted at number one on Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Songs, shifting 11,000 downloads in the tracking week ending December 17th.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘The Light’ and ‘The Sound Of Silence’, which can also be viewed below. Meanwhile, an animated music video was created for lead single ‘The Vengeful One’, the track having undergone digital issue on June 23rd. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the title track, ‘Fire It Up’, ‘What Are You Waiting For’ and ‘Open Your Eyes’.

Fifth studio record Asylum was released in August 2010.
