DEATH ANGEL Release Eighth Studio Album ‘The Evil Divide’
May 27th, 2016

San Francisco, California-based thrash metal group Death Angel issued eighth full-length studio album The Evil Divide on May 27th, 2016 through Nuclear Blast Records.

Recording sessions for the outing commenced on October 1st, 2015 at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida, with producer Jason Suecof. Mastering duties were handled by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York City.

Death Angel’s line-up is as follows;

Mark Osegueda (vocals)
Rob Cavestany (guitar)
Ted Aguilar (guitar)
Damien Sisson (bass)
Will Carroll (drums)

The Evil Divide shifted roughly 6,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week of release, of which nearly all were from pure album sales. The effort charted at position 98 on the Billboard 200.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Hatred United, United Hate’ and ‘Lost’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song ‘Breakaway’. All three clips can be viewed below.

Seventh studio record The Dream Calls For Blood was released in October 2013.
