BOMBUS Release Lyric Video For New Track ‘In The Shadows’
November 8th, 2019

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal group Bombus have released an official lyric video for the track ‘In The Shadows’, which can be viewed below.

The band commented: “Last but not least before Vulture Culture drops, we give you ‘In The Shadows’. It had the working title ‘Big Bombus’ because we thought it had a ‘Big Business’-vibe to it with a pinch of Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’. But in the end it’s a Bombus-locomotive charging through the night!”

Bombus issue fourth full-length studio album Vulture Culture on November 15th, 2019 through Century Media Records.

“I think there is really no other band that sounds like us,” said frontman Feffe Berglund. “But still we sound like a hundred other bands! If you listen to Vulture Culture you can spot the obvious connection to Black Sabbath and Motörhead, but if you listen again you’ll hear traces of Queen, The Prodigy, Tragedy, Pink Floyd, The Partisans, Pantera, ABBA… and it all fits in there! We have never fitted into any particular genre or box and maybe that has made us fall between chairs at times, but if you ask me, that’s what makes us special.”

Vulture Culture was recorded with producer Daniel Johansson, and mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren.

The track listing is as follows;

01. ‘A Ladder – Not A Shovel’
02. ‘(You Are All Just) Human Beings’
03. ‘Mama’
04. ‘It’s All Over’
05. ‘In The Shadows’
06. ‘We Lost A Lot Of Blood Today’
07. ‘Vulture Culture’
08. ‘Two Wolves And One Sheep’
09. ‘Feeling Is Believing’

Bombus’ line-up is as follows;

Feffe Berglund (vocals and guitars)
Matte Säker (vocals and guitars)
Simon Solomon (guitars)
Ola Henriksson (bass)
Peter Asp (drums)

A music video was filmed for the track ‘(You Are All Just) Human Beings’, while an animated music video was released for the song ‘Mama’. Both clips can also be viewed below.

Third studio record Repeat Until Death was released in February 2016 via Century Media Records.
