ARCH ENEMY: ‘You Will Know My Name’ Performance Video Filmed In Seoul, South Korea Available For Viewing

Melodic death metal group Arch Enemy have released a music video for the track ‘You Will Know My Name’. Filmed live during March 2015 in Seoul, South Korea, the clip can be viewed below.

Arch Enemy issued ninth full-length studio album War Eternal on June 9th, 2014 in Europe through Century Media Records. The label scheduled North American release for the 10th.

Drums were tracked at Fascination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden, while bass was tracked at another studio. Vocals were tracked at a third studio with engineer Staffan Karlsson. Mixing and mastering responsibilities were handled by Jens Bogren at the aforementioned Fascination Street.

War Eternal marks the first Arch Enemy full-length to feature frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz. Formerly of The Agonist, White-Gluz’s appointment was confirmed on March 17th, 2014. And as well, War Eternal marks the sole Arch Enemy full-length to feature guitarist Nick Cordle, whose tenure lasted from 2012 until 2014. The man’s departure and the recruitment of ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis was disclosed on November 17th, 2014. With Loomis, Arch Enemy re-recorded the track ‘Stolen Life’, additionally filming a music video in Chile during an early 2015 tour of South America – directed and produced by Carlos Toro V. of Abysmo Films.

Cover artwork duties fell to Costin Chioreanu.

In its first week of release, War Eternal sold roughly 8,000 copies in the United States, landing at position 44 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, the effort charted in Finland (#5), Japan (#7, Oricon chart), Germany (#9), Austria (#13), Switzerland (#16), the Netherlands (#36), USA (#44), and the United Kingdom (#85).

Directed by Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, music videos were filmed for the title track and ‘You Will Know My Name’. In addition, a music video was filmed for the track ‘No More Regrets’. Created by Felix Laflamme, an illustration video was devised for the track ‘Avalanche’. An official lyric video was created for the song ’As The Pages Burn’, meanwhile.

Eighth studio record Khaos Legions was released in May 2011.
