ALICE IN CHAINS Unveil Music Video For Title Track Of Latest Album ‘Rainier Fog’
May 15th, 2019

Seattle, Washington-based alternative rock group Alice In Chains have filmed a music video for the title track of their latest album Rainier Fog. Directed by Peter Darley Miller and Alice In Chains, the clip can be viewed below.

“In a world where things are becoming increasingly serious, with ‘Rainier Fog’ we have continued our long tradition of making asses out of ourselves in videos,” commented drummer Sean Kinney. “So for all of you that were raised bottle-fed, this one is for you. Mission accomplished.”

“We had a great time working with Peter Darley Miller again,” said guitarist Jerry Cantrell. “We made AIC 23 in 2013 with him, which was amazing. We had a blast making the ‘Rainier Fog’ music video, which continues the northwest theme of the record. We hope you enjoy it and have a laugh.”

“The band’s maternal instincts were spot on,” added Miller. “It was a kind and loving environment. I felt special.”

Alice In Chains issued sixth full-length studio album Rainier Fog on August 24th, 2018 through BMG.

Jerry Cantrell commented: “It’s a record we haven’t done yet, but it’s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It’s got our fingerprint. And we’re really proud of the material we wrote and the performances we captured. There’s some really heavy shit, some really ugly stuff, some really beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy shit… it’s good.”

The outing is the third straight Alice In Chains studio release recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz and engineer Paul Figueroa following 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here and 2009’s Black Gives Way To Blue.

As for the span between albums, Cantrell added: “We wait until we’re ready and until we have material that’s up to the Alice In Chains standard and then we do what we do. This is the racket we make when we get together.”

The track listing is as follows;

01. ‘The One You Know’
02. ‘Rainier Fog’
03. ‘Red Giant’
04. ‘Fly’
05. ‘Drone’
06. ‘Deaf Ears Blind Eyes’
07. ‘Maybe’
08. ‘So Far Under’

10. ‘All I Am’

Alice In Chains’ line-up is as follows;
