AHAB Release Fourth Studio Album ‘The Boats Of The Glen Carrig’
August 28th, 2015

German doom metal group Ahab issued fourth full-length studio album The Boats Of The Glen Carrig on August 28th, 2015 through Napalm Records.

The outing is an interpretation of the 1907 horror novel of the same name, written by English author William Hope Hodgson. Cover artwork duties fell to Sebastian Jerke.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘The Isle’
02. ‘The Thing That Made Search’
03. ‘Like Red Foam (The Great Storm)’
04. ‘The Weedmen’
05. ‘To Mourn Job’
06. ‘The Light In The Weed (Mary Madison)’ (bonus track)

Ahab’s line-up is as follows:

Daniel Droste (vocals and guitars)
Christian Hector (guitars)
Stephan Wandernoth (bass)
Cornelius Althammer (drums and percussion)

The effort was made available in the following formats; limited six-page digipak including bonus track, a two-LP gatefold edition, a limited wooden box edition, and an ultra deluxe canvas edition.

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Like Red Foam (The Great Storm)’. In addition, a studio recording video was recorded for the song ‘The Isle’. Both clips can be viewed below.

Third studio record The Giant was released in May 2012 via Napalm Records.
