ACCEPT Release Live Album ‘Symphonic Terror – Live At Wacken 2017’

German / American heavy metal group Accept issued live CD / DVD set Symphonic Terror – Live At Wacken 2017 on November 23rd, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records.

Symphonic Terror consists of a live performance recorded on August 3rd, 2017 at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany.

The two-hour concert was divided into three parts. The first part featured the premiere of new tracks ‘Die By The Sword’ and ‘Koolaid’, as well as the performance of popular songs ‘Restless And Wild’ and ‘Pandemic’. The middle part featured guitarist Wolf Hoffmann accompanied by a symphony orchestra, performing tracks from second solo full-length studio album Headbangers Symphony (July 2016) – an effort consisting of metal versions of classical compositions.

The third part saw Accept accompanied by a symphonic orchestra, performing staples like ‘Princess Of The Dawn’, ‘Breaker’, ‘Fast As A Shark’ and ‘Metal Heart’, as well as newer tracks like ‘Stalingrad’, ‘Shadow Soldiers’ and ‘Teutonic Terror’. An eight-minute version of ‘Balls To The Wall’ acted as the finale.

A limited edition ten-inch vinyl single titled ‘Balls To The Wall (Live)’ / ‘Symphony No. 40 In G Minor (Live)’ was released on October 5th, 2018 and made available in both silver and gold versions.
